Spencer Hunley (he, him) is an autistic professional based in Kansas City, Missouri. He is the former chapter leader of ASAN-KC (now the Kansas City League of Autistics) and former interim president and board member, Autism Society - the Heartland; his current advocacy efforts are focused on developing the Greater Kansas City Autism Coalition, dedicated to improving communication and collaboration between the autism and autistic communities.

In addition to his autistic advocacy, Spencer is a strong proponent of free/open-source assistive/accessible technology, presenting on topics such as including people with disabilities in the Linux community, how accessible and assistive technology would benefit from more Linux and open-source contributions, and how people with disabilities can be an asset for the Linux and open source projects.
Spencer enjoys 'throwing' (yoyoing), playing games (board/video) and assists in production of a podcast called Neurologic in his spare time.
